Rigg Design Prize
Khai Liew will participate in the Rigg Design Prize at the National Gallery of Victoria (Australia) from September 2015. The Rigg Design Prize is the highest accolade for object and furniture design in Australia. As one of seven invited designers to participate, Liew will be presenting a new body of work, on display for the first time. For more details visit here.
Khai Liew continues work on his three year-long commission Indigo Slam. The Sydney-based commission, possibly the largest private commission in Australia, comprising over 190 pieces of furniture for a Chippendale residence includes a sixteen metre dining table and sixty hand-carved dining chairs, rugs and lighting.
